Where did October and November go?! I cannot believe how fast these past months have gone and how much my sweet boys have grown! Cade has doubled his size and Cole has almost tripled his size! Amazing! They are both smiling and laughing now and I absolutely love this stage. Ella is also loving that they are responding to her now. They are fascinated with watching her, especially when she puts on dance shows for them.
We decided to take Ella and the boys on a little trip to the pumpkin patch in October. (It's definitely a lot more work to get 5 of us ready and out the door!) They had a corn maze, bounce house, several slides, pig races and yummy corn on the cob. The boys slept, of course, and Ella had a great time going down the slide. I lost count of how many times she went!

Ella and Peyton looking pretty scary for their Halloween dance show!
Ella decided she wanted to be Little Miss Muffet for Halloween this year. Not sure where that idea came from but she loved carrying her curds and whey and spider around all night.
Cade and Cole were Thing 1 and Thing 2 from Dr. Seuss. My friend, Monica, knitted the great fuzzy blue hats for them.
Thanksgiving Day! We took our first road trip with all three kiddos to Idaho for Thanksgiving! I was a little nervous but everything went great. We stayed at a hotel on Wednesday night. I was completely prepared to be up half the night but the boys surprised us and slept 11 hours! Happy Turkey Day to me!! The bummer about those nights is that instead of enjoying them, you think something is wrong so you get up to check on them constantly. They ended up sleeping that well at the cabin too and since we have been home. I am thrilled to say that we have finally arrived at sleeping through the night again! Yahoo! How I have missed my sleep!
Ella loved her magic bed that pulled out of the couch! And Cole didn't think it was too bad either!
We really are enjoying these babes (now that we are not so sleep deprived!) and I wish that I could freeze time.
Oh, another great moment from these past months was my night away! Scott called just before Thanksgiving to tell me to pack my bag, he had booked me a room at the Marriott. I was so excited! I got way yummy take out from Cafe Rio and arrived in the room to find sparkling apple cider and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for me. It was pure heaven to get to sleep as long as I wanted. Thanks sweetie! Let's do it again soon! :)
And last, my favorite recent Ella comments:
"Well, that was awkward." (is she 5 or 25 - I forget sometimes!)
"Hi Cade. I'm so happy to be here with you."
"Mom, I'm not on the naughty list yet."

GOOD TO SEE YOU GUYS!! Your boys HAVE grown so much. And Ella... what a doll! I miss you guys! I still wish we lived closer... especially on a snowy day like today.
Yay! An update! Love it! Glad the boys are healthy and that life is settling into some state of normal. :-) Miss you!
I agree...stop the clock!! I always feel like I want to freeze time because they grow so quickly. I can't believe how much your boys have changed since we've seen them last! I can't wait to see their little smiles in a couple of days!
