What would the new year be without a resolution (or two or three. . .)?!
This year, my goal is to simplify. I purchased a book last fall on the secrets of simplicity. So easy to read yet so hard to do. Here are just a few of the great suggestions that I hope to start:
-Living in the present
-Dumping the take out menus and get cooking (oh, this is a tough one for me but I'm happy to report that I cooked three homemade full course dinners this week - and Scott and Ella ate and loved them! I can see my mom smiling!)
-Recognize time drainers
-Replace inactivity with activity (also making progress on this one thanks to Mike at Gold's Gym. He's like Bob on the Biggest Loser, only much more kind.)
-Etc., Etc., thank goodness she suggests to start slow
I want this year to be like the sign that hangs in my family room, full of Simple Abundance.

You want to run a Half Marathon with me this year? :o) That's my goal (in the making since Gracen was born).
WOW - Sounds good. Keep me posted on your progess. It is a big job - meeting the needs of 3 little people and 1 sometimes cranky big one!!
It will be a little easier in the spring - I am sooo ready for some sunshine! Love to everyone - Grandma Murphy
Hey there Murphys. So great to hear about your cooking successes, Bec. I think I have a little more faith in your cooking abilities than you do. You makr amazing meals. I'll bet having a little more time at home helps emencly. Granted, the boys are time comsuming, but nevertheless you're at home...lucky you! So, when are you coming to Seattle? Can't wait!Cute pics of the kids, thanks for sharing! Love you all!
