There is nothing like Christmas morning! I don't know who is more excited - us or the kids! It is so fun to watch their faces when they first come down the stairs to see what is waiting for them under the Christmas tree. We looked like the paparazzi waiting for them with all of our cameras and camcorders in hand.

So giddy with excitment waiting for the green light to head downstairs!

Ella asked Santa for an American Girl doll that looked like her. He delivered! She named her Rebecca and loved dressing up in their matching pajamas.

Cade had a great time with the speed racer Santa left for him and Cole. He loved watching the cars spin round and round. He was pretty content though to sit with Papa and put all of the shapes in the elephant sorter that Ella got for him.

Cole loved the Silly Town alligator that Santa left for him and the stacking cups he got from Ella. He was happiest though just carrying around and drinking the milk out of his sippy cup. He had a sippy in his hand non-stop. I don't know if the cabin air made him thirsty but we could hardly keep up with changing his diapers. The big hit for both babes though was their first experience tasting a candy cane. Yum!

I could not wait for Scott to open his present this Christmas! For those who don't know, Scott is a HUGE New Kids on the Block/Backstreet Boys fan. He puts the girl fans to shame. Both groups are touring together this year. So, Mom, Dad and I decided it would be fun to get him tickets their show in Vegas. But he didn't just get a ticket. He got two VIP tickets! He gets to go to the preshow party, meet them, have his picture taken, and sit on the second row! I will be along for this adventure, too. I wonder what the New Kids will think when it's Scott wiping the drool from his mouth and not me?! Merry Christmas to the man who is larger than life!

I was surprised this year with tickets to two shows - Air Supply and Yanni! Super exciting! I got a fabulous new steam mop. Scott still doesn't understand why that is a fun present. Maybe he needs to mop the floor more! And I will be learning French with Ella. I have a long ways to go to catch up to her. It's amazing how much she has learned this year!

Notice Papa playing with Teegan's Transformer. This toy was a huge hit with the men in the house! Papa and Grandma loved their gifts, especially their grandkid scrapbook.

Notice Josh and the Transformer. Still not sure how he got it away from Papa. And little Camdyn, our pathological picture taker! Strike a pose!

Uncle Steven and Ella ending the Christmas morning extravaganza with some quiet story time.
