Ice Skating

Sometimes I think that Ella has tried everything - and then she reminds me of something she has NEVER done. Such is the case with ice skating. Just as I was about to ask her to put on her pj's and get ready for bed, she asked if we could go. I'm not a super spontaneous person but thought, why not? We headed over to the little rink at Station Park. I was expecting to have some drama and tears over how hard it was but after hanging onto the wall for only a minute, she took off across the middle of the rink. She did have a few falls but she did great! And loved it! I spent most of my time along the wall, but was happy that I at least remembered how to stand up on them.
