Today we are in Cabo San Lucas and so excited to be here! Such a beautiful place and we are all anxious for our excursion.
When we were looking at excursions for this vacation, I was set on taking Ella to swim with the dolphins. Scott and I did a dolphin encounter in the Bahamas a few years ago and loved it. I knew she would to! I was a little nervous that she might be too afraid to get in the water with them so we talked about how they were used to being with kids and that all she needed to do was listen to the trainer and follow her instructions. I think she was still a bit scared but her excitement overtook it and she was ready to jump right in with them.
Meeting our dolphin - Lotuani
Swimming in the pool with Lotuani
She felt very smooth and rubbery.SMOOCH! Ella's first dolphin kisses! When you cross your hands across your chest like Ella is doing, that is the command for the dolphin to give you a kiss.
Ella swimming with Lotuani. We had a choice between a fast swim or a slow swim. Most of our group, including Scott, chose a fast swim. But Ella and I wanted the experience to last as long as it could so we picked the slow swim.

We could not stop smiling the whole time we were there!
Cabo Dolphins was so amazing! A definite must do and something we will definitely do again!
We were pretty hungry after our dolphin swim so we headed to the one place that I knew was yummy and safe to eat - Senor Frogs!
It has been awhile since I have been there and some of the entertainment (even at lunchtime) was beyond questionable for kids. Fortunately, we were able to find a balloon clown to keep Ella entertained (and distracted).
So, this tall yummy looking drink is actually only a Coke. But, we had to take a picture of it because this tall, fun thing cost a whopping $10! Seriously! And we didn't even get to keep the cup. Scott was not up for drinking all of it but I made him finish every last sip.

We spent the rest of the afternoon walking around Cabo and doing a little shopping before coming back to the ship for some pool and hottub time before dinner.
Tonight we had a pirate theme dinner. I ran to the party store before we left and purchased a few dress up items for us. Scott was skeptical of his long locks but was a good sport, as usual. I was thinking as we were taking this picture with Captain Jack Sparrow that it would have been quite the surprise if they had brought out Johnny Depp! I would have hung out to take pictures all night!
