I know that Teegan, Camdyn, Cade and Cole will remember Ella's baptism day. Probably not so much the actual baptism as the crazy events that followed. After eating delicious cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries, Scott decided to take the kids on a walk to the bridge. They had so much fun getting cars to honk at them. As I was looking at them from the porch, it started to rain. No, make that pour! And not raindrops. In a matter of seconds, it went from cloudy to ice balls (as Cade called them). Scott yelled for the kids to start running as I jumped in the suburban to go get them. By the time I reached the end of the street, all of the kids were crying and were completely drenched! Once safely inside the car, we all got a good laugh out of it. And I figured it counted for the bath of the night.
When the ice balls stopped, we were treated to a double rainbow. One of the songs we sang at the baptism talked about looking for rainbows after rain and pondering on the beauty of the earth made clean again.
A perfect ending to a perfect day!
Grandma with all the kiddos!
Ella and Camdyn listening to Papa's favorite - the Piano Guys!
Doggy Pile!
So more mischief and a little snoozing with the Piano Guys and our giant bear.
Fun at the Park!
The miracle family photo - everyone looking at the camera and no tears.
Hooray!
We love you Ella and are so very proud of you and the wonderful choices you are making in your life! Always remember how much we love and care for you and more importantly, how much your Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love and care for you. You are a beautiful girl filled with an amazing spirit and a gift to make all those around you smile!
