The boys' final field trip of the year was to the firestation. Their preshool teacher, Miss Trish, lives across the street from a fireman (or woman, actually) so we were able to get a really great tour.
She showed us all the parts of the firetruck and all of the things that are behind the doors on the sides of the truck. Miss Trish was able to dress up in the fireman uniform and she turned on the lights and siren.
Cade and Cole were so happy to earn their fireman badge and get to wear their special fireman hat. But the highlight for them was getting to sit in the big front seat where the fireman sits.
