Spelling Bee

 In November, Ella competed in her class spelling bee and won the chance to represent them at her school spelling bee today.  She had a pretty difficult list of words but she studied really hard.  She was a little nervous but excited, too.  They did a practice round to help get the jitters out and I think she was relieved when she made it through that and could see that she could do this.  They take the top three spellers (4th, 5th and 6th grades combined) to the District Bee.  Ella made it to the round deciding the 3rd place speller and took 5th place.  The word she got out on was seismograph.  She spelled it just like it sounds sizemograph.  She did great and we were so proud of her!!
