Baby Birds

Easter time brings out the best candy and one of our favorites is the Cadbury Mini Eggs (which are now sold out everywhere!). While most would just devour them and savor the yumminess known as chocolate, our sweet Ella decided they were her baby birds. For several days, she carried them around. She would take them outside and set them on the birdhouse she made with Papa. At night, she would bring them in so they were nice and warm. They even had names: Elizabeth, Alex, Ian, Lucinda and Periweather. As new little cracks would appear on the outer shells, Ella would get more excited that they were going to "hatch". And eventually, they all did, right in her mouth!

Oh my gosh..that is hysterical! I can just imagine her putting her baby birds in the bird house. I love the names she chose too. It's a good thing her mean aunt Brittany wasn't around to sneak the baby birds away and eat them..I just can't resist!

I did see that online that south eastern Idaho has run out of mini eggs...haha Suckers! :)

Who could make this stuff up? Ella cracks me up! She has more creativity in her baby finger than most kids I know. (Kids at school of course, not my grandkids...they are ALL amazing!!)Love you Ella-Bella!
Guess what? People in Washington haven't discovered mini-eggs. I bought some half price after Easter! Who knew? What IS their problem? Health nuts...the whole lot of them.
Love you! - Grandma & Papa
