Ella and I were able to have a mommy-daughter outing to the Lion King this week! It was Ella's first Broadway play and she was really looking forward to it. We went to eat at the Olive Garden where she got a yummy lemon dessert. We had great seats and she was amazed at how big everything was. I have been to several plays and this one definitely wins for costume design. They were unbelievable! Ella loved the elephants walking up the aisle and the giant giraffes. We had a great time!

Date nights with kids are so fun..and even more so when you go see Lion King! I would love to see it. I bet Ella felt so special. I saw Mary Poppins in NY..my first broadway play. So awesome! I already want to see another.
