Book Report

Ella did her first book report at school today. She chose to do it on A Bad Case of Stripes. She loves all of the crazy things that happen to Camilla Cream. We thought it would be fun for her to dress up in a shirt that had a lot of the things that happened to Camilla. So, we decorated it with fabric paint, puff balls, feathers, rainbows, berries, leaves, pipe cleaners and jewels. She also had a crazy hat and a jar of yummy lima beans, Camilla's favorite. Ella was a little nervous about remembering everything she needed to in the story so we made her some reminder note cards. We talked about just using them as hints but when it came time to give her report, she was so excited and nervous that she read straight from them as quickly as possible. Good thing I made complete sentences on them! Great job, Ella!
