School Days with Mom and Dad

The past two Fridays, Scott and I have got to go and spend the morning with Ella at school - Daddy and Donuts Day and Mommy and Muffins Day. We were excited to be there with her and she was beyond excited to show us everything in her accomplishment folders. In French, it was fascinating to watch her interact with the other kids in French. They are not allowed to speak any English and they didn't. All of her conversations with the kids were in French and she didn't even have to think about it. She sang us a new song she learned and we played Bingo. I trusted that she was putting the markers on the right numbers because I certainly didn't know what they were. :) In her English class, she did two little plays and another new song. It's hard to believe that she is almost finished with first grade!
