It wouldn't be a trip to Seattle without a visit to the city to see the waterfront and the aquarium.

Ella gets super excited to go! She looks forward to touching the starfish and other sea creatures. She's much more adventurous than her mom. I have no interest in touching anything in the water - well, except for Dolphins.

Cade and Cole really got into it this year, now that they are a little older. They weren't too interested in the starfish but they wanted to climb the rocks and splash in the water.

Looking at the fish with Grandma. Cole kept touching the glass and saying, "Fish. Fish."

They were fascinated with watching the diver feed the fish.

Cole chillin' with Uncle Steven. Notice he has once again managed to steal Steven's hat.

While we were walking along the pier, we found some people who were working on a totem pole carving. There was a gentleman a few years ago who used to work along the pier carving and selling wood ornaments. He was shot and killed by a police officer when he refused to give the officer one of his carving knives and the officer felt threatened. This totem pole project was put together by his friends and being done in his memory. It was beautiful and amazing to see how they are created.
