As I was putting together this post, I realized how many fun traditions we have when we visit Seattle - Remlinger Farm being one of them. Ella loves everything about this little farm and it was fun to see the boys get more involved in the excitement this year.

The first stop was the petting zoo. Ella was immediately taken by the goats who would jump up on the fence to greet her. They are super friendly animals. Cole thought these goats were fun, but only from a distance. As soon as they jumped up and tried to climb inside his stroller with him, he was in tears. Cade took to the sheep. They were a little more tame.

Both boys were excited to ride the train. They waited in line - not so patiently - for the conductor to pull the train around. When the horn blew and we were off, everyone was smiling but Cade. He was struck with a sudden burst of fear and clung to Scott for most of the ride.

Why is Ella pretending to eat her shoe? While we were waiting for the train to leave, Ella noticed some goats over in the field. One of them was scratching his head with one of his feet. Ella thought that was pretty silly and decided to give it a tree. She's pretty flexible but the goat has her on this one.

Cole could hardly wait to get inside the boat with Ella. He kept saying "Water, water" and kept putting his hand in it as they went around. Cade did not want anything to do with the canoe. Maybe he was still scared from the train and didn't trust us to put him in anything else.

Ella on the Rollercoaster! Lift your hands in the air and scream - it's more fun that way! (Neither Cade or Cole thought this ride was fun. Both cried the entire time.)

The farm has a cute theatre where we usually look forward to singing along with Eric Ode. He must have had the day off and Lolly from Clown Town was filling in for him. Ella got to participate in a couple of her tricks and she made her a fun balloon parrot to carry around.

And the last stop of the day, the pony rides. Ella went on this adventure with Grandma while Scott and I took two tired boys back to the car. She loved her horse, Kale (she thinks that was his name). She was too excited to be riding him to remember.

So long - or in Cole's words - bye, bye farm.
