Fireworks

Not So Happy 4th of July!  At least for pictures anyway.  I have long given up on getting some of those perfect holiday pictures.  I think we are still a few years away from that.  But even these total breakdown moments make me smile!
The highlight of this holiday was daddy getting to come home.  We picked him up at the airport the day before and it was pure excitement!  I let the kids each pick out a balloon to take to the airport.  We anxiously waited at baggage claim for Scott to come through.  As soon as Cade saw him, he took off running at full speed.  The security lady jumped up from her chair and started yelling at him to stop.  She was worried that he was going to cross that invisible line by her chair.  I don't think she was too happy when I didn't do anything to stop him.  Did she think he was carrying something dangerous in his diaper?!  He's a two year old kid, just excited to see his dad.  All day long, Cade would tell everyone that that was his daddy!
Our 4th celebration started with the Kaysville Parade.  Even though we've lived here for several years, this was our first trip to this grand event.  Fortunately, our friend Jen saved us some great seats in the shade!

Mommy, I want it (the camera)!
It would not be a picture of Cole without something to drink in his hand.
Ella, Austyn, Cade and Cooper waiting for the parade to start.
This was a great parade.  The kids stood out in the street with their sacks and collected candy like it was Halloween! They would jump up and down and point about every float that came by.
This was my favorite!  Dad, I think that we should enter you and the blue cabin chair next year!
After the parade, we ran home and put on our swimming suits and headed to Lagoona Beach to play in the water and eat yummy snowies!
We ended the day playing on the inflatables at Davis High with Uncle Steven and Holly.
Anxiously waiting for the fireworks to start!  We had a perfect view for a great show!  Ella and Austyn were ooohhhhing and aaaahhhing while Cole quietly watched laying in my lap and Cade loudly pointed to each one saying, "Look, big firework!"  Super fun day!
