For one of the activity days this month, they threw a Mini Party for moms and daughters. Everything was tiny - the invitations, the food, the decorations, the party hats, the games (complete with a mini trophy). Ella kept saying, "Look mom! Look at this. Look at how tiny it is." It was fun to have a special night with just her. She did a great job at the cup stacking game but it was the applesauce game that was the hit of the night. With a bib on and a garbage sack in my lap, Ella took a jar of baby applesauce and proceeded to feed it to me with a tiny spoon. I thought she would go easy on me but as soon as they announced that it was a race, she kicked into overdrive. She was feeding me (blindfolded!) as fast as her arms would go. Applesauce was flying everywhere and I had to hold her hands back so I could swallow, my mouth was so full. By the end, I looked like I had taken an applesauce bath. Ella was quite proud of herself!
