Ice Cream Bottom

Another summer afternoon at Lagoon.  We are getting in as many trips as possible since it is almost time for school to start.  We were having a typical day, riding the rides (Cole even tried a couple of new ones!) and trying to stay cool.  After a couple of wet rides, we decided to get some ice cream at Pioneer Village.  That is when the fun began.
Shortly after walking outside, the whole top of Cole's ice cream fell on the wooden sidewalk.  Instant meltdown!  Who could blame him?  While I was trying to console him and let him know that we would fix it, Cade decided to add to the moment by planting his entire ice cream on my right butt cheek.  Serious!!  He thought he was so funny!  I let Cole continue to whine while I pulled out the Wet Ones and proceeded to clean myself off.  Not the least bit amused, I turned to see an older couple sitting on a bench not too far from us, both of them hysterically laughing.  I am sure I would have been laughing, too, had I been watching this show unfold.  And I guess I should be grateful for small blessings, like Cade ordering vanilla ice cream instead of chocolate!
